It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Frederick Hazen Ellis of Caledonia, Michigan, born in Grand Rapids, Michigan, who passed away on August 30, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Hazen Ellis and Nellie Ellis; and his brother-in-law William Kury. He is survived by: his wife Diane Ellis; his children, Sherri Lynn Noe and Craig Ellis (Sharon); his grandsons, Nick Noe, Dan Noe (Sarah) and Christopher Noe (Christina); his great grandchildren, Hazen, Brooklyn, Knox Noe, Jack, Rose Noe and Willa Noe; his sister Patricia Kury; and his close friends, Michael and Marcie Kusto.
Memorial contributions will be accepted in Fred's honor, helping provide low income families to receive winter apparel in GRPS (Fred graduated from Creston). Donations are made payable to Grand Rapids Public Schools and mailed/dropped off to Fifth Third Bank, Attn: Joshua Andree, 4460 Cascade Road SE, GR, MI 49546.
