He was predeceased by: his sister Debra Shanklin. He is survived by: his wife Linda; his children, Cara Marvin (Chris), Laura DeJong (Marcus) and Brett Smith (Rachel); his grandchildren, Alayna, Logan Marvin, Dimitri, Grant, Anya, Constance, Seth DeJong, Kaylin, Ethan, Dillan and Jaxon Smith; his siblings, David Smith (Lily), Cynthia O'Brien (Daniel) and Linda Anderson (Scott); and his sisters-in-law, Peggy Phillips (Jerry) and Coral Hoffmann (Mark). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
