It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Mae Ur of Burton, Michigan, born in Flint, Michigan, who passed away on March 16, 2022, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Liesen and Thelma Liesen (Reynolds); and her son-in-law Daniel Stimson. She is survived by: her significant other David; her daughters, Dawn Avery (Virgil), Karen Stimson (James), Carol Pyland (Mark) and Veronica Ur; and her siblings, Charles Liesen, Agnes Zimmerman and Carl "Butch" Liesen. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 12 ½ great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church.
