He is survived by: his sons, Dave Nelson (Marietta) and James Nelson (Karen); his grandchildren, Amber Okeson (Jeffrey), Autumn Probst (James), Josh Nelson, Zola Nelson and Ethan Nelson; his great grandchild Lyndon Wilder Probst; and his siblings, Tom Oden (Cindy), Glenda Wix and Barbara Melton (Larry).
