She was predeceased by: her husband Dudley Olds; her parents, Gladys Cox and Gerald Samson; her stepmother Cornedia Samson; and her brothers, Jerry Samson and William Bowen.
She is survived by: her children, Annette Gipson (Wayne), Tonya Chevalier (Mark), Robert Wright (Tiffanie), Jacqueline Marsh (Bob), Kim Vanhorn-Burgess (Richard), Ardath Wright, David Rye and Tiria Rye; and her siblings, Sue Long (James), Elaine Boyce (Chuck), Shurdon Martin, Carol Carrick (Ray), Michael Bowen and Philip Samson (Kim). She is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren.
