It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Hazen Thayer of Burton, Michigan, born in Mayville, Michigan, who passed away on October 20, 2021, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Thayer and Doris Thayer (Sugden); his former wife Gwendolyn Joyce DePriest; and his son Hazen Matthew Thayer. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Cook; his daughters, Sherrie Anderson (Bill), Nora Petriches (Bob) and Bonnie Prado; and his grandchildren, Tom Prado (Ashley), Josh Prado, Andy Prado and Lisann Roy (Chad). He is also survived by many great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Genesys Hurley Cancer Institute for Cancer Patient Fund.
