It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ernest Perdue of Burton, Michigan, born in Harbor Beach, Michigan, who passed away on May 27, 2024, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Thomas and Dorothea Aileen Perdue (Carson); his sisters, Patricia Braun, Doris Smith and Gloria Schmaltz; and his brothers-in-law, Ronnie Smith, Dave Schmaltz, Wayne Reinke and Al Pleiness.
He is survived by: his wife Debra Schelke; his sons, Travis Perdue, Jason Perdue (Nicole) and Brandon Perdue (Dayna); and his siblings, Sally Scott, Bob Perdue (Sharon), Nancy Reinke, Janis Pleiness, Janice Perdue and Billy Perdue (Ellen). He is also survived by other loving family members and friends.
