He was predeceased by: his father Francis Newsom; his brother Ron Newsom; and his son-in-law Scott Durga. He is survived by: his mother Carolyn Newsom (Howell); his wife Sharon LaDuke; his children, Sheri Durga, Tara Rowe (Danny) and David Gilbert; and his siblings, Bud Newsom (Linda), Lynda Gibson (Will) and Jeana Lee (Randy). He is also survived by 2 sister-in-laws and several nieces and nephews.
