She was predeceased by: her parents, Harroll Layne and Ethel Layne (Dixon); her husband George Thomas; her daughter Kimberly Pavlica; and her siblings, Winfred Layne, Sarah Maples and Ronnie Layne.
She is survived by: her children, Debora Newton (Tony) and George Thomas Jr. (Carol); her grandchildren, Shaun Newton (Hallie), Amber Shaw, Paul Thomas (Brittney) and Wyatt Thomas (Maddie); her great grandchildren, Annecy, Charlotte, Lincoln, Carter and Ethan; and her siblings, Wilma Faye Layne, Martha Layne and MacArthur Layne (Judy). She is also survived by other loving family members and friends.
