He is survived by: his father Jay Richards; his wife Valerie Bigelow Robertson Richards; his son Dylan Richards of Alpena, Michigan; his stepchildren, Amanda Robertson of Hutchinson, Erin Robertson Smith of Grand Blanc, Laura Robertson (Margie) of Chicago and Matthew Robertson of Burton, Michigan; his grandchildren, Asher of Grand Blanc, Michigan, Eleanor of Grand Blanc, Michigan and Calvin Smith of Grand Blanc, Michigan; his siblings, Brian Richards (Brenda), Kim Richards (Steve Ridley) and Karen Wallis (Rick); and his little pug Pearl. He is also survived by father and grandfather.
