She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Craine and Hazel Craine (Clark); her husband Charles F. Whitman; her daughter-in-law Ellen Whitman; and her grandson Eric Whitman.
She is survived by: her children, Larry Whitman of Davison, MI, Jean McField (Mac) of Ft. Pierce, FL, Duane Whitman (Ann) of Otisville, MI, Bruce Whitman (Karen) of Grand Blanc, MI, Debbie Grosvenor (Charlie) of Byron, MI and Arlene Ross. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; many other loving family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Genesee District Library's Talking Books Program to benefit the blind in Barbara's memory.
