He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald A. Howard and Laura M. Howard. He is survived by: his siblings, Willam A. Howard (Jean) of Traverse City, Beverly J. Lichty (Ron) of Phoenix and David W. Howard (Sandra) of Traverse City. He is also survived by eight nephews and nieces.
