He is survived by: his son Dale Backus (Anita); his girlfriend Shari Nusbaum; his brother Jerry Backus (Linda); his granddaughter Katie (Jason); his great grandchildren, Sidney, Garrick, Jensen and Traeten; his grandson John (Megan); his great grandchildren, Cayson and Bruce; his grandsons, Daniel and Blaine; and his great grandchild Nevaeh.
