He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman "Ed" Koenigshof and Sylvia Koenigshof; his wife Loretta Lee; his stepson Ronald Stone; and his siblings, Robert Koenigshof, Rex Koenigshof and Kate Koenigshof Donovan.
He is survived by: his son Steve Koenigshof (Janet); his stepdaughter Sandy Yircott (David); and his brothers, John Koenigshof and Jerry Koenigshof. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren, 8 great-great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild, 2 step grandchildren, and 2 great-great-step grandchildren.
