She is survived by: her children, Jaimie Moten, Stevie Brooks and Yasmine Brooks; her siblings, Audrey Moten (David), Emanuel Moten Jr. (Benita), Edward Moten, Darnell Moten, Andre Moten, Eric Moten (Jamie) and Quint; her former husband James Brooks; her sister-in-law Carrie Mae Brooks; her daughter-in-law Brandi Bankton; her granddaughter Mary Brooks II; her great-nephew Chris-Shawn Moten of Buchanan Michigan; her nephew John Moten (Lashond); and her grandchildren, Miracle Moten of Detroit Michigan, Marhionna Brooks, Daquon Moten of Niles Michigan, Shonquae Brooks, Eric Moten of Buchanan Michigan, Mary Brooks, Nellie Mann-Moten, Shawntrail Brooks, Shon'Kvion Brooks, Malik Moten, Brandi Brooks and Benton Harbor of Michigan. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
