He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther Baker and Emma Baker; and his siblings, Howard Baker, Michael Black, Richard Black, Margaret Dees and Carolyn Black.

He is survived by: his children, Luther Allen Baker, Jr., Marshall Baker, Dustin Baker, Melissa Noles and Carla Ott; and his siblings, Marshal Black, Bettie Lowery, Lynda Day, Sandra Baker and Christine Russo. He is also survived by ten grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and many nieces and nephews.
