She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Swatek and Mable Swatek (VanCamp); her husband John Albert Swanson (Jack); her sister Lola Joanne Merkt; and her son-in-law Kim Gouker.
She is survived by: her daughters, Kirsti Dykstra (Mark) of Buchanan, Heidi Swanson of Batavia, IL and Jodi Swanson (Mark Bodie) of Lowell, IN; her grandchildren, Kelsey Dykstra, Austin Dykstra and Hailey Bucholz (Nathan); her great grandchild Mable; her brother F. Charles Swatek (Bonnie) of Crete, IL.; her nephew Martin Merkt (Janet); and her nieces, Joanne Louise Cox, Margie Mathews (Steve) and Amy Crouse (Greg).
Memorial contributions may be made to help build a new playground in Jeanene's name at Fuller's to honor the joy Jeanene found in encouraging children (like her great granddaughter) and others to enjoy life with the same enthusiasm she did.
