She was predeceased by: her parents, Stanislaus Gataveckas and Helene Gataveckas; and her husband Gerhard Reinhold Janz. She is survived by: her children, Christina Abele (Harold) of Buchanan, Daniel Janz (Rita) of Lakeside and Sieghard Janz (Melissa) of Dorr; her grandchildren, Christian Janz, Chloe Janz, Mia Janz, Alexander Janz and Christopher Janz; her sister Elvira Pliess of Morton Grove, Illinois; her nieces, Yolanda Kirstein (Heinz) of Morton Grove, Wilma Rickert (John) of Breslau, Ontario and Sonia Weber (Joachim) of Park Ridge, Illinois; her cousins, Elfriede Hilmer of Cummings and Irena Navickaite of Kupiskis, Lithuania; and her godchildren, Yolanda Kirstein, Joachim Weber and Helga Herrman.
