He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Pasley and Alice Pasley; his wife Meldonia Sue Blevins; his sons, Justin Pasley and Michael Pasley; his siblings, Cecil "Buddy" Pasley, Leroy Pasley and Betty Pendleton; and his son-in-law Leeman Riddle.

He is survived by: his children, Elvin Ray, Glen Pasley (Cathy), Charlotte Nelson (Jim) and Gay Nell Marsh (Rick). He is also survived by 22 grandchildren, 53 great-grandchildren, and 7 great-great-grandchildren.
