She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude Deckard and Lucille Deckard; and her siblings, Patty Hile (Sluder), Silvia Quinn and James Deckard.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Davis (Heidi) and Patricia Davis (Barb Atkinson); her sister Victoria Deckard; and her friend Carol Nethery. She is also survived by grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins.
Her family asks that donations in Claudia's name be made to Caring Circle Hospice or to the Humane Society of SW Michigan.
