He was predeceased by: his father Christian Stark; his wife Jeanette Stark; his son Ronald Stark; his brothers, Richard and Gene Stark; and his siblings-in-law, Jerry Zebell and Dora Hombaker.
He is survived by: his daughter Kathy Virgil (Bryan) of Buchanan; his grandchildren, Kristen Wortman (Stuart), Brett Virgil (Meghan) and Erin Mosher (Logan); his great grandchildren, Jameson, Caroline and Theodore; his sisters, Delores Zebell and Jane Schau (Chris); and his sisters-in-law, Violet Stark and Mary Garoutte (Robert).
