He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl W. Runyan and Ila V. Runyan (Harvel); his son Bil Runyan; and his sisters, Betty Couchman and Carlene Harroff.

He is survived by: his wife Marion Runyan; his granddaughter Patricia Mook (John, Jr.); his great grandchildren, Jennie Calcamuggio (Nate), Nick Mook, John Mook III and Dan Mook; his grandson Rod Runyan (Kim); his great grandchildren, Kyle Norman (Will) and Brett Runyan (John Hutchinson); his granddaughter Cheri Haslock; his great grandchildren, Abraham Hemple, Catherine Marsh (Corey) and John Haslock; his granddaughter Bonnie DeRidder (Dave); his great grandchildren, Robert Selbie (Laurie), Emory DeRidder and Tyler Selbie (Stephanie); his granddaughter Jennie Linville; and his great grandchildren, Amber Linville and Terra Pair. He is also survived by great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions in Jack's name may be made to Caring Circle of Lakeland, or First United Methodist Church.
