Alfred D. Hanson Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Alfred D. Hanson of Buchanan, Michigan, born in Grayling, Michigan, who passed away on July 27, 2021 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Hanson and Francelia "Tete" Hanson (Corwin); his wife Mary Ellen "Chickie" Holden; and his siblings, Jeanne Thompson and David "Skip" Hanson.
He is survived by: his children, Chris Thomas of Buchanan, Gordon Jerome (Zennie) of Yakima, WA, Lynn Heckler (Tim) of Schoolcraft and Leslie Hanson (Joan) of Rocky Mount, N. C.; and his brother Carl Hanson of Battle Creek. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren.
