It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Darlene K. Hagel of Bronson, Michigan, born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on February 28, 2023, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William II and Garnett Vires II (Bias); and her brother William Vires, III. She is survived by: her husband David F. Hagel; her children, Christina Erath (Matthew) of Coldwater, Justin Hagel of Bronson, Ryan Hagel (Abby) of Battle Creek and Danielle Verhelle (Spencer) of Bronson; her siblings, Larry Vires (Nora) of Clinton Twp, Rob Vires (Brenda) of Phoenix, AZ, Spike Vires (Maryann) of Imlay City and Phillip Vires (Kathy) of Warren; and her grandchildren, Grace and Adalynn. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
