It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Matthew Braun (Brighton, Michigan), born in Garden City, Michigan, who passed away on September 15, 2021, at the age of 27, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his brother Gabriel Braun; and his grandparents, Gary, Linda Mezgec, Emil and Julie McCord.
He is survived by: his parents, Alfred Carl Braun and Marlene Julie Braun (McCord); his siblings, Daniel DeKittie, Michael Braun and Dimitri Braun (Nicole); and his nephews, Dimitrus and Michael. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Memorial contributions are suggested to a fundraiser to help family with expenses to send him home to Alaska.
