It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Kathy Sonderegger Wassel of Brighton, Michigan, born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on March 18, 2021, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Karl Sonderegger and Muriel Sonderegger (Feuell); and her sister Karla. She is survived by: her husband George; her children, Sheila Zajbel (Tom), Aimee Shinosky (Ray), Addam Wassel (Alexis) and Arynn Takacs (Ryne); her grandchildren, Kayla (C. J.), Kelsey, Kalley, Morgan, Beckett, Jacob, Owen, Vivian and Madison; her great grandchild Cole; and her sister Karen. She is also survived by many extended family members… and dear friends.
We lost a wife, mother, grandmother and friend, but Heaven gained an incredible angel. Due to Covid restrictions, a private service will be held on Tuesday, March 23, 2021 at 11:00am.
