It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lela Mae Buchanan of Breckenridge, Michigan, born in Fort Wayne, Indiana, who passed away on March 2, 2021, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Harrison and Mary Rebecca Tucker (Byrd); her husband Kenneth Ray Buchanan; her siblings, Junior, Marynell, Charles, Ruth, Joe, Inez, Noble, Franklin and Viola; and her children-in-law, Harold Shroyer and Jacque Buchanan.
She is survived by: her children, James Buchanan (Terri) of St. Louis, Judy Shroyer of Breckenridge and Joe Buchanan (Ruth) of Texas; and her siblings, Della Hoffman, Rose Beach and Don Tucker. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren.
