He was predeceased by: his father Albert Childs. He is survived by: his mother Margaret Childs (LaClair); his wife Judith Cardwell; his daughters, Teresa Ebright and Tracy Childs; his grandsons, Levi, Luke and Lane; and his siblings, Deborah Sugar (Tom), Linda Lopez, Colene Greening (Mark) and Danny Childs (Diane). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Lane Walker Foundation.
