He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Walter Luebkert and Esther Luebkert (Schewe); his spouse Royale Pugh (Yingling); his sons, Michael Luebkert and Ryan Luebkert; his grandchildren, Matthew, Luke, Nicklaus, William and Maddie; his stepson Lynsey Lockwood; his stepgrandchildren, Chase and Addisyn; his brother Connie Luebkert; his brother-in-law Fang Dawson; and his pet Ivan. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to Peace Lutheran Church or Covenant Medical Center Cancer Unit.
