He is survived by: his significant other Jeanette Wolgast; his children, Darren Thayer (Alesha) of St. Louis, MI and Kimberly Sandel of Alma, MI; his grandchildren, Teagan Bollig (Casey), Keeley DeBack (Alex), Kennedy Thayer, Cologio Alighire, Lillie Thayer, Lexie Thayer, Linzy Garcia (Augustine), Clayton Clark and Duncan Clark; his great grandchildren, Evelyn Bollig, Xzavior Garcia, Ella Garcia, Marcello Garcia, Romero Garcia, Amara Garcia and Carter Humphrey; and his brothers, Donald Thayer (Betty), Dennis Thayer (Carol) and Bill Thayer (Ann). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
