He was predeceased by: his parents, John Stoneman and Leona Stoneman (Davis); his sons-in-law, Dale Pratt and Dave Morford; his siblings, Gerald, Harold, Garnet (Frank Burkett) and Joan (Bill Rose); and also, Ilah, Earl Oberst, Bethel and Smokey Stover.
He is survived by: his wife Vera Pauline Wheeler; his children, Bonnie Pratt of Burt, Barbara Morford of St. Louis, Bill Stoneman (Jill) of Breckenridge, Tim Stoneman (Deb) of Breckenridge, Dave Stoneman (Karen) of Merrill, John Stoneman (Linda) of Alma and Keith Stoneman of St. Louis; his sister Margaret Freed (Gene); and his sister-in-law Karen Stoneman. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Breckenridge United Methodist Church or the Gratiot County Community Foundation, Dale and Vera Stoneman Scholarship.
