He is survived by: his children, Arlene Egbert, Teresa Hunt (Earl), Tom Deitrich and Paul Deitrich (MaryBeth); and his brother Jerry Deitrich (Kay). He is also survived by eight grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren.
