It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Allport of Boyne City, Michigan, born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on December 11, 2020, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Allport and Mildred Allport (Eddy); his siblings, William Allport Jr., Robert Allport, Richard Allport, Evonne, David Allport and Donald Allport; and his nephews, David and Daniel Kruczynski.
He is survived by: his wife Deborah Allport; his daughter Phoebe Malkowicz; his stepchildren, Daniel Massey, Tami Balch (Ken), Steven Massey and Rebecca Miller (John); his grandchildren, Aodhan and Branwen; his stepgrandchildren, John Norman (Kendra), Tracey, Maggie, Ondrea, Lillian, Kendra, Kami, Kenneth Jr., Karl Robert, Kaiden and Karla; his great grandchildren, Evie and Kennedy; his siblings, Mary Kruczynski, John Allport and Michael Allport; and his nephew Joe Kruczynski (Ruth).
