It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Ashley Freehan (Bloomfield Hills, Michigan), born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on August 19, 2021, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Helen Freehan and Ashley Freehan; his wife Patte; his daughters, Corey Daul (Steve), Kelley Salter (John) and Cathy Jo Ryan (Chris); his grandchildren, Blaise, Ashley, Will, Allison, Harrison, Justin and Sophie; and his siblings, Robert Freehan (Joan), Richard Freehan (Carole) and Mary Paciorek (Randy). He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Bill's honor can be made to St. Francis Xavier Catholic School Tuition Angel Fund, (petoskeySFX.org), Hospice of Michigan (hom.org), and the Walloon Lake Association and Conservancy (walloon.org).
