He was predeceased by: his daughter Janet Bernard (Bill) of White Lake, MI; his siblings, Albert Hoban and Lila Stoermer; and his wife Irene Gutgsell of Jasper. He is survived by: his children, Anne Anderson (Spencer) of Kirtland Hills, OH, Carol Leamon (Gerry Canavan) of Sea Cliff, NY, John Jr. Hoban (Liz) of Pinckney, MI, Mary Hall (Phil) of Pinckney, MI, Brian Hoban (Lisa) of Palmetto, FL, Christopher Hoban (Christine) of Bangor, PA and Kevin Hoban (Lisa) of Coralville, IA.. He is also survived by seven children and eleven grandchildren.
