With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Robert Hicks (Bloomfield Hills, Michigan), who passed away on May 11, 2021 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his wife Jacqueline Hicks; his children, James "Jamie" Hicks (Sheri) of Farmington and Katie Barlow of Farmington; his stepchildren, Dr. Danielle Gehlert (Guy) and Nicolle Wheatley of St. Clair Shores; his sister Carol Morris of Melvindale; and his grandchildren, Kayleigh, Julia, Jack Gehlert, Samantha, Christopher Barlow and Ronald Hicks.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be sent to: Archdiocese for the Military Services, 1025 Michigan Ave NE, Washington DC 20017.
