She was predeceased by: her husband George C. Cole. She is survived by: her children, Jeannette Cole, Thomas (Kathy), Catherine Brown (Gary), Susan Cole (Jim Silva) and Robert (Charity); her grandchildren, Natalie, Mathew, Jaymeson, Tyler, Alan, Melissa, Nathan, Jennifer, Vitaly, Briahna, Brandon, Cole, Deborah, Cana and Leah; and her great grandchildren, Joseph, Asher, Holland and Abel.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial tributes to the American Macular Degeneration Foundation (https://www.macular.org), an organization that does research to cure Macular Degeneration, which Dorothy struggled with for many years.
