She is survived by: her husband Walter J Matthes Jr.; her children, Sandie VerMeulen of Grand Rapids, MI, Walter J Matthes III (Donna) of Seattle, WA and Jeffrey Matthes (Scott) of Vail, CO.; and her grandchildren, Lauren, Jennifer, Curtis, Katie, Teagan and Nevan.

In lieu of flowers, memorial tributes may be made in Kay's name to the Village Club Foundation, 190 E. Long Lake Rd., Bloomfield Hills, MI 48304. ~Lovingly written by the family.
