He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, James Spurlock and Betsy Spurlock (Mathis); his spouse Ruthanne Nachtwey; his children, Robert Spurlock, Edward Spurlock (Carol), Lisa Spurlock (Mary) and Fern Ward (Don); his siblings, James, Peggy and Susan; his granddaughters, Erica, Lauren and Denise; and his son Rex Anton.
