He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Zehm and Alice Zehm (Hildreth); his wife T. Corinne Zehm; and his siblings, Bob Zehm and Wynona Breen.

He is survived by: his children, Karen Roe (Martin) of Baltic, Allan Zehm (Shannon) of Angwin, Dawn Gatewood (William) of Ceresco and Kenneth Zehm (Tonya) of Berrien Springs, Michigan; and his sister Waneta Harris (Luther) of Roundup, Montana. He is also survived by many extended family members and close friends.
