He was predeceased by: his father Richard "Chip" Wells II. He is survived by: his mother Brenda Wells II (Archer); his wife Jennifer Wells; his children, Chip Wells, Quebeca McCarty (Ryan) and Lena Wells; his grandchildren, Annabelle, Daphne and Grayson McCarty; his sister Rhonda Whitt (Jason); his nieces, Hannah and Grace Whitt; and his grandmother Mildred Archer. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins.
