He is survived by: his children, Carla Johnson (Robert) of Charlotte and Dorie Gladney of Jersey City; his grandchildren, Ashley Davis, Robert Johnson (RJ) and Zoe Ellis; his sisters, Mary Louise Rimpson, Mattie Johnson and Virginia Miller; his aunt Annie Lenzie; his uncle Ernest Rimpson (Willie Richmond); his sister Mary Alice Gladney; and his siblings-in-law, Charlene Yates and Cassell Yates (Kenny Carruth). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and co-workers.
