She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter McClain and Maggie McClain; her sister Pastor Ella M. Mobley; her husband Pastor Bosie Bowman, Jr.; and her siblings, Moses Dickens, King Solomon Dickens and Ella Mary Mobley.
She is survived by: her children, Minister Angela Davis (Lonnie), Iris Watts (Bruce), Barry Bowman (Christie), Jonathan Bowman (Keisha), Dwight Bowman (Carolyn), Charlotte Hawkins (Earsker) and Kent Bowman (Natasha); and her sisters-in-law, Lillie Isom, Ida Campbell and Bessie Isom. She is also survived by her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren.
