She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Valacak and Helen Valacak (Lipnican); her spouse Philips Shane; and her siblings, Paul Valacak, Mary Johnson, Frank Valacak, Cy Valacak, Vince Valacak, Helen Valacak, Marge Murach, Agatha Filush and Rosemary VanArkel.
She is survived by: her children, Larry Shane (Tina) and Laura Sarelis (Peter); her grandchildren, Michael Shane, Elisabeth "Anika" Shane, Hannah Shane, Kylee Shane, Naomi Sarelis and Mariah Sarelis; and her brother Thomas Valacak (Irene). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church in Watervliet or Centrica Care in Kalamazoo.
