He was predeceased by: his parents, Lula Mae Atkins and Eddie Atkins Jr.; and his grandparents, Ed and Effie Atkins. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Jones-Atkins. He is also survived by 3 Sisters, 5 brothers, 3 sons, 3 daughters, 2 stepdaughters, and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends.
