He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Shindeldecker and Willie Shindeldecker (Freeman); his sister Cindy Shindeldecker; and his sister-in-law Debi Shindeldecker. He is survived by: his children, Brandon Shindeldecker (April) and Tiffany Schultz of Benton Harbor; his brothers, Gary Shindeldecker (Judy) of St. Joseph and Doug Shindeldecker of Benton Harbor; and his grandchildren, Brayden, Wyatt and Raelynn. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
