It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Chester Mason of Benton Harbor, Michigan, born in Charleston, Missouri, who passed away on October 28, 2021, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Mason and Flora Kent-Mason; and his brothers, Henry Jr., Napoleon Mason, Preston Mason and Floyd Mason.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Mason; his children, Cheryl Carter (Jeffery) of Benton Harbor, MI, Lynette Mason of Atlanta, GA, Alicia Mason of Atlanta, GA, Lynetta Garden of St. Louis, MO, LaPedra Evans of Scottsdale, AZ, Kelvin Mason of Benton Harbor, MI, Timothy Mason (Kimyatta) of Benton Harbor, MI and Chester Mason, Jr. of Cleveland, OH; his sisters, Marzella Cross of St. Louis, MO, Mary Johnson of St. Louis, MO, Martha Scott of St. Louis, MO and Evelyn Tabor of St. Louis, MO; and his aunt Laura Getter. He is also survived by loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
