He was predeceased by: his parents, Calvin Edwards and Mary Magdalene Edwards; his grandparents, Josephus, Hattie Willingham Edwards, Burlie Nayles Polk and Willie "Bumblebee" Williams; his brother Calvin Edwards, Jr. of Camden, AR; his son Charles Lewis Edwards, Jr. of Oakland, CA; and his siblings, Ruth Ann Harvey of Benton Harbor, MI and Kelvin Thomas "Joe" Edwards of Antioch, CA..
He is survived by: his wife Eloise Edwards; his son Christopher Edwards; his granddaughter Christen Ann Edwards; his brother Larry; his brother-in-law Louis Harvey of Benton Harbor, MI; his sisters, Carolyn Delois (Linny), Barbara Ann Johnson of Camden, AR, Mary Guillory of Lake Charles, LA and Brenda Edwards; his aunts, Mary Louise Scott of Camden, AR and Linda Faye "Bumblebee" Williams of Little Rock, AR; and also, Laddie, Marilyn Sue Edwards of Detroit, MI, Dr. Burlie Elizabeth Hanson (Michael) of DeSoto, TX and Sherry Delores Edwards of Sherman Oaks, CA. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends.
