With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carole Jeanne Gunkel (Benton Harbor, Michigan), who passed away on May 23, 2022 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Robert Gunkel; and her parents, Ken Clark and Lucille Clark. She is survived by: her daughters, Tammy Lopez (Al) of Eau Claire, Carrie Weller (Donnie) of St. Joseph and Darcy Gunkel of Stevensville; and her brothers, James A. Clark of Portage and Rev. Ken Clark of Nipomo, CA. She is also survived by her 2 grandchildren; her 3 great grandchildren; and her nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to the Benton Harbor Area Schools for scholarships for elementary students or the Shriners hospital.
