He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Weers and Doris Weers (Whitscell); his siblings, Shirley Jean Weers and Richard Weers (Dick); and his former wife Mary Sue.

He is survived by: his wife Shirley A. Link (Stansbury); his children, Teri Saxman (Dave) of Bellevue, Sue King (Ted) of Bellevue and Mark Link (Brenda) of Bellevue; his grandchildren, Jesse King (Mike Fowler), Wade King, David Saxman (Toni), Troy Saxman, Sara Link, Andrew Link and Megan Holmes; his great grandchildren, Madison, Olivia, Emma, Seth Fowler, Karley, Kourtney, Karter King, Skylar, Adriana, Syra Saxman, Brittie and Adaline Whitney; and his sisters, Janet Morgan (Dennis) of Fort Wayne, Ruth Ann Watson of Gobles and Numerous. He is also survived by Numerous nieces and nephews.
